What Is The Top Selling Comic Book Issue Of All Times?

I have been around comics for many years and I know comics as well as the next guy but this question got me thinking for a while. What single issue comic sold the most issues of all times. I thought of the Death of Superman in Superman #75, The Amazing Spider-Man #583 (the Obama issue) went into I think six printings, and the Death of Robin in Batman #428 one of the first comic events to make mainstream news. Then I remembered the comic event by Marvel of the 1991…

The film is executive produced by Bruce Timm (Batman: Year One), and directed by Lauren Montgomery (Batman: Year One), who is also credited as producer alongside Alan Burnett (Batman: The Animated Series). Zack Snyder: Man of Steel ignore all previous Superman films

The Sucker Punch director plans to treat the Big Blue Boy Scout the way that Christopher Nolan handled the Dark Knight—as if none of the films that came before existed. Will that way lead to success or failure? In planning his path to bringing Superman to the big screen once more, Snyder seems to have realized that a break from the past—a break that Bryan Singer’s Richard Donner-esque Superman Returns resolutely refused to commit to—is mandatory. In an interview with the L.A. Times, Snyder revealed his plan: “Literally, the one…

Wonder Woman NBC pilot reveal Palicki’s new look

NBC came under fire when it released the first photo of Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman earlier this month. As THR.com Heat Vision blogger Borys Kit pointed out, fanboys said she looked “too trashy, too bad-porn-y,” Fox said her look wasn’t patriotic enough and even Lynda Carter, who played her in the ’70s TV series, weighed in with a big negative with glossy look. Legion of 3 Worlds

Finally we are getting the Final – Final Crisis story months after the main story has ended, coming July 22 at your nearest comic store. This story is interesting because it is about Superboy-Prime and his campaign against the future Legion of Super-Heroes plus the development of the identity of the Time-Trapper and his hatred of the Legion and everything Superman. I am frustrated by how long it has taken DC to release the comic. But I think it was held to put make more interest in the new release…

2008 Comics Review

I did not think that the Marvel comic world could top 2007 in shaking things up with Civil War, World War Hulk, One More Day Spider-Man, and of course the death of an Icon: Captain America but they did a fair Job with A Brand New Day story line with Spider-Man without Mary Jane in his life. Plus the restart of the series with Thor and Asgard written by J. Michael Straczynski an outstanding writer. And the restart of the Hulk series introducing the Red Hulk a meaner more sinister Hulk written…
