The Flash: Rebirth is a forthcoming five-issue monthly American comic book limited series written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Ethan Van Sciver. Published by DC Comics, the series promises to feature characters from throughout the nearly seventy year history of Flash comics. This is the creative team’s second “rebirth” limited series, preceded by 2005’s Green Lantern: Rebirth.
The storyline will follow the “rebirth” of the Silver Age Flash Barry Allen, after an initial return in the pages of DC’s crossover event Final Crisis. The creative team, when asked which Flashes would appear in the series at Comic Con International 2008, replied, “All of them.” Ethan Van Sciver has stated in interviews that he has redesigned Wally West’s costume. This is being done so that Wally and Barry can be visually distinct, with Barry once again becoming the primary Flash in the mini-series’ pages.
My favorite Crisis on Infinite Earths hero is back from the pages of Final Crisis and from the dead. How will he feel about Bart Allen’s death or is he really dead? Flash the classic speedster been around for almost 70 years.
The greatest of all the ones that are called Flash is coming back, How will the DC universe that is left by Final Crisis accept him, it is possible the story will involve all the speedsters from the past including Bart Allen. It will be great to see how they pull that one off he is suppose to be dead… what am I thinking so was Barry. Amazing what you can do in comics. Let me know what you think.
