Well they did it they killed Batman it looks very real- On that final page of Final Crisis #6, we see Superman carrying Batman’s dead and skeletonized/mummified body – the condition of which is due to being hit by Darkseid’s Omega Sanction. This is as big as the Death of Captain America. Batman the second most popular character in DC world could send shock waves with comic readers. Morrison has left a hole in the DC universe that will be impossible to fill.
Is Bruce Wayne really dead it really looks like it. Forget Batman Beyond and the Frank Miller’s Batman of the future, reality has been changed for the moment. Batman will be back but not Bruce Wayne just like Bucky becoming Captain America in the upcoming Battle for the Cowl miniseries which starts in March, by the end of the three issue miniseries in June, there will be someone wearing a Batman costume in the DC Universe. I am in shock they killed the Silver Age Hero Martian Manhunter and now Batman too. Is Wonder Woman in danger of death also. A good point is I think that Barry Allen will stay after Final Crisis and have a new series of his own in spite of Crisis on Infinite Earths #8 when the Anti-Monitor’s Anti-Matter cannon was destroyed by Barry Allen but the Anti-matter causes him to die.
