Walt Disney Pictures has revealed that Iron Man 3 has earned $1.142 billion globally after five weeks of release. That puts Iron Man 3 in rare company, as the fifth-highest grossing film of all time. The only movies ahead of Iron Man 3 on that list are James Cameron’s Avatar and Titanic, Marvel’s own The Avengers, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2. Additionally, Iron Man 3 holds the record as the second-highest domestic opening of all time at $174.1 million, just behind Marvel’s The Avengers‘ $207.4 million.…

In June, 2008 it was announced on the Goon official site that a CG animated film of The Goon was to be produced by the award-winning Blur Studio and David Fincher and written by Eric Powell.
