Warren Ellis will return to DC, to work on some of the characters that made him a household name among comic book fans, as the curator of a new pop-up imprint called WildStorm, ComicBook.com has learned exclusively. With its fifth annual event coming in late October, Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo has been renamed as Stan Lee’s L.A. Comic Con. Originally launched as Comikaze Expo in 2011, the event was re-branded in 2012 as Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in a deal made between Comikaze Entertainment and Lee. Lionsgate and the Masters of the Web panel co-sponsored the world premiere of Dredd 3D to a packed house at San Diego Comic Con Wednesday night.
