BBC America has announced that the new season of Doctor Who will debut on September 1 at 9 p.m. ET, EW has confirmed. The network will broadcast five episodes of the 49-year-old British science fiction show this fall, starting with season premiere, “Asylum of the Daleks” and ending with an episode which will feature both the Weeping Angels and the departure of the Doctor’s companions Amy and Rory.
