With its fifth annual event coming in late October, Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo has been renamed as Stan Lee’s L.A. Comic Con. Originally launched as Comikaze Expo in 2011, the event was re-branded in 2012 as Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in a deal made between Comikaze Entertainment and Lee. In a recent interview, Australian actress Margot Robbie, who is playing bubblegum blowing, baseball bat wielding maniac Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, was quick to praise her co-star Jared Leto. Boston Comic Con Postponed Over Area Security Concerns

As a consequence of the ongoing security concerns in the area as law enforcement officials pursue a suspect in this week’s tragic Boston Marathon bombings and violence in nearby Watertown and at MIT, the Hynes Convention Center has suspended all events. Portland Comic Con from Wizard World

I just attended the Wizard World Portland Comic Con and was pleasantly surprised all three days were filled with enough excitement to fill the convention center.
