Forever Evil And The Crime Syndicate From DC

The Crime Syndicate of America is back, and they’re taking over the New 52. DC confirmed that the evil team known as the Crime Syndicate of America will be the villains that overtake the Earth in Forever Evil, the seven-issue mini-series that starts in September. At the Comic-Con International in San Diego this year writer and historian Mark Evanier moderated a panel celebrating editor Julius “Julie” Schwartz time running the Superman titles at DC Comics. The panel featured writers Elliot S. Maggin, Gerry Conway and Marv Wolfman, writer and former DC Comics President Paul Levitz and writer/editor Martin Pasko. The Flash Coming To The CW TV And Movie WB

CW Executive Mark Pedowitz confirmed that Barry Allen will be coming to the CW lineup this season. Currently the main character in DC’s ongoing comic book series of the same name, this version of The Flash will start as a recurring character on Arrow in the 2013-2014 second season, Pedowitz confirmed. Fantastic Four Reboot to Shoot in Louisiana

According to The Wrap, production on Josh Trank’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot will roll cameras in Louisiana instead of the previously-rumored Vancouver. Production is slated to begin sometime this September. This marks the first Marvel-based Fox film to shoot in Louisiana, after many of the studio’s superhero movies — such as “X-Men” and the upcoming “X-Men: Days of Future Past” — were shot in Canada. HBO Advance Notice: The Wolverine

The Wolverine unleashes its signature berserker rage on Friday, and today brings a new clip to prove it. Star Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold premiered a new Wolverine scene during a special HBO Advance Notice segment. The series premiered in the United States on Cartoon Network on July 13, 2013 as part of their DC Nation block. It is the replacement for Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
