Krypton Renewed on SYFY

“Krypton” has been renewed for a second season at Syfy ahead of the show’s first season finale on May 23. The second season is expected to air in 2019. The series is averaging 1.8 million viewers in Live+3. It is Syfy’s most-watched debut season of an original series since “Ascension” in 2014 and the most-watched season of any scripted series on the network since “Defiance” in 2015.’Read

Deadpool 2 Weekend Opening Gross

Deadpool 2 estimated domestic gross $125,000,000 for weekend with $301,336,221 total worldwide. With a Production Budget: $110 million it is well on its way to making Fox a big profit. Final numbers still to be tallied but people are going to the theater to see the Merc with a mouth Wade Wilson played by Ryan Reynolds in great numbers. Margot Kidder Dies At 69

Margot Kidder, known for playing Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve in the Superman movies, has died at the age of 69 after struggling with mental illness for most of her life. Kidder’s manager, Camilla Fluxman Pines, and the Franzen-Davis Funeral Home in Livingston, MT, confirmed the Superman actress’ death, but no cause of death was revealed. Executive producers Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, Jeremy Carver, and Sarah Schechter are developing a live-action Doom Patrol series to debut on the upcoming DC Universe streaming app. The series will be written by Jeremy Carver. DC Comics has confirmed that as of last week all DC Universe ongoing titles – physical and digital – will be priced $3.99. This includes price increases of Wonder Woman and The Flash, but will also raise the price of the previously $2.99 Batman, Suicide Squad, Detective Comics, Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan & The Green Lantern Corps, Harley Quinn, and Injustice.
