There are intense days ahead for the Ghost crew when “Star Wars Rebels” returns for its third season. Ezra’s more powerful than ever (powerful enough to take on an Imperial Walker on his own) and he might look for guidance in a very unlikely place. A new clip from the upcoming season sees Ezra picking up an object that, if he’s not careful, might have a major impact on his destiny. The hour-long Season 3 premiere, “Steps Into Shadows,” will feature more than just the Sith holocron; it will also…

Agents of SHIELD With Ghost Rider Gets Lowest Premiere Rating
The addition of Ghost Rider and the move to the new 10pm ET timeslot didn’t help out Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD. Last night’s Agents of SHIELD Season 4 premiere netted the lowest ratings for the series’ season premiere episode dropping by almost 1.5 million viewers. “The Ghost” was viewed by 3.44 million people, which is down from the Agents of SHIED season three premiere of 4.9 million. Season 2 saw 5.98 million, and a whopping 12.12 million tuned in for the very first episode back in 2013. It’s probably safe…

Jennifer Walters’ new status quo has been revealed — and it proves it’s still not easy being green or gray. As announced by AV Club, the new Marvel series will launch this December. Writer Mariko Tamaki (“This One Summer”) and artist Nico Leon (“Ms. Marvel”) will guide Jennifer through the next phase of her life, one that sees her shed the She-Hulk name and star in a series simply titled “Hulk.” The series will follow Walters as she tries to go back to her life as a lawyer and superhero…

“Danger Will Robinson!” Netflix has announced today that they have ordered a 10-episode first season of a new Lost In Space tv series. The one-hour sci-fi drama is of course based on the 1960’s sci-fi classic from Irwin Allen. New Line Cinema made a movie based on the property in 1998 directed by Stephen Hopkins which I remember being not a great movie. Find out who’s involved in this new take on the science fiction classic. The new Lost in Space tv series is a reimagined take on the property…
Read MoreAlan Ritchson as Shazam?
Have we found our Shazam with Alan Ritchson? The actor answered a fan’s question on Twitter, “So you’re gonna play Shazam, right?” Alan Ritchson replied with a big, “Yup!” That sure sounds like he’s playing Shazam! However, is Alan Ritchson playing the CGI version of the character? Ritchson played the CGI version of Raphael in the TMNT movies, so it’s possible WB could be going a digital route for Shazam. We’ll have to wait until official word comes from WB, but it’s possible Alan Ritchson could be playing Shazam opposite…
Read MoreSilver Surfer #6 Review
I’ve not been reading many Marvel Comics of late. Secret Wars wasn’t my cup of tea, providing a great opportunity to stop purchasing digitally day and date and finally use my Marvel Unlimited subscription. Civil War 2 pulling the line together again – well, more like strangling it – has seen me buying only books I really, really like. Vision, Scarlet Witch, Hellcat… and Silver Surfer. There’s a wonderful breeziness to this series as the Surfer and companion Dawn Greenwood explore the literal Marvel Universe. Big fights, big Terra-Forms, occasionally,…

Read MoreAmazing Spider-Man #17 Review Dan Slott
By Matthew Mueller Someone should probably buy The Jackal a dictionary because it doesn’t seem he understands what the term Good Guy means. Writer Dan Slott continues to build to his upcoming 90’s reanimation project, The Clone Conspiracy, and the latest issue of Amazing Spider-Man adds two more characters to the dead no more pile, but we’ll get to that in a bit. First, it should be pointed out just how little Peter Parker is actually in his own book, but the upside of that is the increased screen time…
Read MoreHere’s the latest on the series Star Trek: Discovery
We knew the lead character in Star Trek: Discovery would be female – and not a captain – but turns out we won’t learn her name… at least, at first. “When we introduce our protagonist, she is called Number One,” Fuller told Ain’t It Cool News – noting that the moniker’s a tribute to Majel Barrett‘s character from the original Trek pilot. We will learn our new hero’s name by the end of the first 13-part season, though… Why just 13 episodes? Fuller thinks any more would “fatigue the show”,…

Gene Wilder, the two-time Oscar nominated star of “The Producers,” “Blazing Saddles,” “Young Frankenstein” and “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” among countless other films, has died at age 83 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease, as confirmed by his nephew, Jordan Walker-Pearlman. Walker-Pearlman said in a statement (via Variety): We understand for all the emotional and physical challenges this situation presented we have been among the lucky ones — this illness-pirate, unlike in so many cases, never stole his ability to recognize those that were closest to him, nor took…

According to writer-producer Brad Bird, “The Incredibles 2” is well underway. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he refused to spill any plot details, but did offer a small update on the sequel to the original 2004 film. “It’s very actively moving, and we’re excited about it,” he shared. “[We’re] trying to take it in some new directions.” “Hopefully it’s the same characters and feel, but going in a new direction,” he added. “I mean, that’s the trick with a sequel. It’s repeating yourself, without repeating yourself.” Back in 2004, the original…

Game of Thrones Season 7 will have a later debut than normal next year thanks to the arrival of winter, but the cast is already preparing us for what’s to come, or rather, telling us we can’t be prepared. Across a series of tweets, star Maisie Williams bought a one way ticket to the hype train, saying: “Just finished reading season 7, s**t gets REAL. I’d start preparing yourselves now… scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this… Holy BALLS.” In related news, Jon Snow himself, Kit Harrington, claims to…
Read MoreTyler Hoechlin Will Be More Classic Superman
Posted by: Matt McGloin It’s probably safe to assume that the new Tyler Hoechlin Superman for Supergirl Season 2 won’t be snapping anyone’s neck, killing anybody or even meeting his maker. Zack Snyder can have that for the DCEU. Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreiseberg fills in Collider what to expect from Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman. It’s learned they are going with a more classic route with the Man of Steel as their version is inspired by Christopher Reeve, Dean Cain and George Reeves and is more experienced than the Henry Cavill…

The Eradicator will learn someday that it’s all about the approach with people. You might have some worthy points to make about the survival of Kryptonian culture and all that other gobbledygook, but no one reacts well to threats, and especially when those threats are directed towards one’s wife, child, and lovable super dog. That’s what the Kryptonian that never seems to get the message will come to understand in the newest issue of Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason’s current run on Superman. Clark has absorbed about as much…
