Have we found our Shazam with Alan Ritchson?
The actor answered a fan’s question on Twitter, “So you’re gonna play Shazam, right?” Alan Ritchson replied with a big, “Yup!”
That sure sounds like he’s playing Shazam! However, is Alan Ritchson playing the CGI version of the character? Ritchson played the CGI version of Raphael in the TMNT movies, so it’s possible WB could be going a digital route for Shazam.
We’ll have to wait until official word comes from WB, but it’s possible Alan Ritchson could be playing Shazam opposite Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.
Alan Ritchson also played Aquaman in Smallville.
Shazam has an April 5, 2019 release.
