A standalone Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars film is reportedly in the works, and a possible director is supposedly in early talks for the project. No word on if Ewan McGregor will return in the role. Sources have told The Hollywood Reporter that an Obi-Wan film project currently has no script or stars attached to it, but Billy Elliot director Stephen Daldry is reportedly in early talks to helm the film. A Watchmen TV series is coming to HBO. Variety reports Damon Lindelof, who recently finished his Leftovers series and is known for Lost, will be developing the Watchmen TV series for HBO. Back in April actually saw rumor of a Watchmen project being developed as apparently WB conducted a survey asking fans if they would be interested in an R-rated Watchmen series.
