A Watchmen TV series is coming to HBO.
Variety reports Damon Lindelof, who recently finished his Leftovers series and is known for Lost, will be developing the Watchmen TV series for HBO.
Back in April actually saw rumor of a Watchmen project being developed as apparently WB conducted a survey asking fans if they would be interested in an R-rated Watchmen series.
Zack Snyder directed the Watchmen movie back in 2009, which is based on the 1985 Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons graphic novel. Damon Lindelof’s Watchmen TV series at HBO would be independent of the movie and something new.
Watchmen features the characters Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, Comedian, Rorschach, Ozymandias, and Dr. Manhattan.
