Can the Phoenix Force Die? I don’t think so, The Phoenix Force is one of the oldest known cosmic entities, representing life that has not yet been born. The Phoenix Force is an immortal, indestructible, and mutable manifestation of the prime universal force of life. Born of the void between states of being, the Phoenix Force is a child of the universe. It is the nexus of all psionic energy which does, has, and ever will exist in all realities of the omniverse, the Guardian of Creation, and a de-facto guardian of the M’Kraan Crystal.
This history is the culmination of stories about the Phoenix written since 1976. So can the Phoenix inhabit Jean Grey again, why not. It is a force of the universe like Galactus it is part of the natural destruction and creation of the universe. So what does the writer Brian Michael Bendis have in mind? Your guess is as good as mine. That is why he is the writer excellent and people enjoy his stories. He has a great mind for a story and it will probably surprise you. So pick it up at the comic store or catch it digitally. Stay tuned for more on this and other topics at Comics Talk comic faithful. 🙂 Walt
No, I do not believe the Phoenix force has returned. In the story there is an extremely powerful telepath that is making people believe the X-men are doing these crimes I would not doubt that is what we are seeing here.

I just read #13 and it could be the Phoenix but of course we have to wait till 14 to find out, looks like another 4 bucks for me.
