Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Steve Rogers is inspired to enlist in the army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, Rogers gets rejected, but later offered the opportunity to take part in a special experiment called Operation: Rebirth. After weeks of tests, Rogers is administered the Super-Solider Serum and bombarded by “vita-rays,” awakening from the treatment as Captain America. Armed with his indestructible shield and battle savvy, Captain America embarks on a war against evil.

Captain America is an American Icon it deserves an effort better than the poor production back in the 90’s quickly forgotten by Marvel fans and comic readers. I think they have made a good try at a quality production. I have heard that the Captain America in today’s comics is revealed in the third act of the movie. This movie is to introduce this famous hero to the 21st century movie goers origin and all. Finally America’s hero comes to the big screen shield and all. This movie sets the stage for the new Avengers Movie coming in 2012. Marvel has big plans to bring their greatest characters to the movies. His shield is flying and bad guys beware Captain America is here.

This is an other one to; see you at the movies. Stay tuned comic faithful for more. 🙂 Walt
