This trailer dropped over the weekend. It helps develop the story and shows the hardened relationship between Thor and Hela plus a beginning first act scene with Hela and an much later scene with a rematch between Hela and Thor it’s all good. At the heart of the story it is Hela vs Thor and who will rule Asgard and stop Ragnarok. The best line in the trailer is Hela saying, “Kneel… for your queen”. Cate Blanchett is Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. In theaters November 3!

While discussing the unexpected team-ups in Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige talks Thanos and Cate Blanchett’s Hela from Thor: Ragnarok. A theory online amongst fans suggests Hela may be the MCU version of Death, Thanos’ mistress in the comics. One of the most fascinating story arcs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the Thor movies. Thor’s first Marvel appearance was Journey into Mystery #83 (August 1962). Created for Marvel by editor-plotter Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber, and plotter Jack Kirby. In a 1992 interview, Kirby said “I knew the Thor legends very well, but I wanted to modernize them.
