Superman/Batman Apocalypse DVD

I just viewed this entertaining animated movie and thought it is a good representation of the outstanding story introduced in Superman/Batman comics. It has the same powerful delivery of a well thought out story re-introducing Kara Superman’s cousin from Krypton. This Kara is quite different from the character of the last century of heroes in early DC comics. She has a mind of her own and is quick to tell Superman and Batman that she wants to make her own decisions in life. She learns many lessons about life on earth and Apokolips and end the end makes the right decisions.

The DC Universe is coming on strong with productions like this. I recommend this for the DC comics fan and those who enjoy a good story with a lot of action. On sale now at your favorite retail outlet. The short story 11 minute clip about Green Arrow is also well done and worth checking out. DC may have a ways to go to catch Marvel Entertainment in production levels but the quality is there. With the popularity in comics these days it is time to produce more good stuff. Check out the trailer of the movie.

Finally I hope you enjoy the comic age for the new century has arrived and there is many more animated and theatrical releases planned for both Marvel and DC. What a great time to see the heroes we grew up with. See you at the movies. Stay tuned comic faithful for more. 🙂 Walt
