Fox has released the first teaser for its X-Men spin-off show The Gifted. Focusing on a family who goes on the run when its discovered the two children are mutants, the show has also been picked up for a full series based on a pilot directed by X-Men film director Bryan Singer. Sony has moved up the release of their animated Spider-Man movie by one week. It was originally scheduled to come out on December 21, 2018, the same day as DC Comics’ Aquaman. Now, the animated Spider-Man movie will be out on December 14, 2018. The untitled animated Spider-Man movie will feature Shameik Moore as the voice of Miles Morales. Liev Schreiber will voice an unknown villain.

The first image of the Inhuman royal family for ABC’s upcoming Inhumans series has been revealed (via Entertainment Weekly). The image shows the entire assembled royal family – Black Bolt (Anson Mount), Medusa (Serinda Swan), Crystal (Isabelle Cornish), Karnak (Ken Leung), Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor), and Maximus (Iwan Rheon) – with Triton, played by Mike Moh on the show, the only regular member of the classic Inhumans line up not represented. It seems as though a pair of fan favorites may have been cut out of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, as first Nathan Fillion, reported to be featured in a cameo as Simon Williams, posted a photo on Instagram possibly insinuating a scene with him will not make the final cut of the film.
