Netflix has revealed the new full trailer for the upcoming second season of Marvel’s Luke Cage, which focuses almost entirely on Alfre Woodard’s Mariah Dillard.
In the trailer, Mariah Dillard is faced with an imminent and formidable threat to her hold over Harlem – the unstoppable Bushmaster. Armed with Mariah’s deepest secrets, Bushmaster endangers everything that she holds most dear. Will Luke Cage intervene to protect Mariah?
The second season is executive produced by series showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker (Ray Donovan), Jim Chory (Marvel’s Jessica Jones), and Jeph Loeb (Jessica Jones), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
Season 2 of Marvel’s Luke Cage debuts exclusively on Netflix June 22, 2018.
