Suicide Squad looks to be dark and gritty like the world of Batman. Driven by a large, diverse cast featuring some rising young stars along with a former box-office giant, DC's Suicide Squad could be a hit like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, something that Warner Bros. needs.

Most of the time Marvel and DC's films are produced by many people, Suicide Squad is apparently an idea writer/director David Ayer brought to Warner Bros. out of the blue – meaning a rare creatively-driven shared-universe feature. With the Joker - Jared Leto, Deadshot - Will Smith, Harley Quinn - Margot Robbie, Enchantress - Cara Delevingne, and Captain Boomerang - Jai Courtney appearing, plus a possible cameo of Batman it looks to be very interesting.
