Doctor Strange is Marvel’s newest entry into their cinematic universe and may be the more polarizing films on our list of candidates.

Many Marvel fans rated it as the #1 most anticipated movie of the year than any other film, but many people may not understand who he really is. A former doctor, Strange serves as the Sorcerer Supreme, the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats.

With set photos of Benedict Cumberbatch just finding their way online in the last week, it may take awhile for the anticipation for Doctor Strange to build even higher, but either way it’s a pretty healthy showing for arguably one of the more original concepts in Marvel.
