Marvel has been working toward a Crisis type event to change all things Marvel perhaps to bring the main MU in line with the Movie universe created by Marvel Entertainment. For whatever the reason you won’t hear Crisis on Multiple Earths as a title because Marvel must do things the Marvel way. The twist is Battleworld and Secret Wars which is Marvel stories that go all the way back to the early days of Marvel. What this means to Thor and the Hulk and others in the MU and who or what is behind the creation of this world in conflict remains to be seen. The Marvel Multiverse is fractured and this universal event will set the table for the future of Marvel and what we are going to read in Marvel Comics.
