Loki’s time has come. Watch the brand-new trailer for “Loki,” and start streaming the Marvel Studios Original Series on June 11 on Disney+. Loki, the God of Mischief, steps out of his brother’s shadow to embark on an adventure that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
Marvel is at it again creating programs from the continuity created by Kevin Feige’s world of film making and now streaming television which started with the WandaVision program and now the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Starting in June comes Loki which is produced by Marvel Studios, with Waldron serving as head writer and Kate Herron directing for the first season is coming to a small screen near you. It will consist of six episodes.
Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki from the film series. Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Wunmi Mosaku also star. After stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Loki is brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA) organization and their Time-Keepers and is forced to fix several timelines he broke while traveling through time altering human history with the Tesseract, ending up trapped in his own crime thriller.
