Media Release — Harley Quinn will topline her own 26-episode animated comedy series on DC Entertainment’s stand-alone digital service, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The half-hour series is created by the team behind NBC’s DCU comedy Powerless, Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey, and will feature Harley with old and new heroes & villains (including gal pal Poison Ivy) as she tries to forge a career as Gotham City’s criminal “queenpin” — without The Joker.
The SVOD service DC’s upcoming streaming service — which will also feature a live-action Titans series and an animated Young Justice revival — will launch in 2018.
