In addition to Henry Cavill’s earlier posts spreading the super holiday cheer, Henry Cavill posted a new image along with Dwayne Johnson, who is playing Black Adam in the DCEU Shazam! movie.
“Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Superman and Black Adam Dwayne The Rock Johnson,” Cavill posted. “Today we drink like gentleman and come together as friends. We’re excited for what the future brings.”
Cavill also included the following hashtags perhaps confirming an epic battle between Superman and Black Adam will take place some time down the road: “#DangerousGentleman #DCWorldsWillCollide #Superman.”
Dwayne Johnson has actually teased a Black Adam vs Superman confrontation more than a couple of times, and The Rock was even given an authentic Man of Steel Superman costume back in November.
Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson also happen to share the same manager, in which Dany Garcia said big things are on the horizon for Henry Cavill and that Man of Steel 2 is in development.
Henry Cavill next stars as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League; Man of Steel 2 has no release date as of yet, and Shazam! is due out in 2019.
