Is Justice league Good?

This is the transcribe of the video we loaded to our youtube channel:

I am Walt Stiles director and head writer for Comics Talk News Blog on the web at comicstalk.com. I have been a blog writer for about 10 years and have reviewed many movies and comics. I put this video together because wanted to share my thoughts while they are fresh in my mind.

I just watched Justice League and made the mistake beforehand of reading the remarks of the movie critics that criticize movies for a living, and because of that I had myself prepared to see a flawed movie and be disappointed again by DC Entertainment’s effort to put a coherent story together with characters you really want to care about. Except for Wonder Woman, all attempts by these movie makers have failed miserably in the critic’s eyes if not at the box office where they have done very well.

Here are some of the critic’s remarks on Rotten Tomatoes:

Critics Consensus: Justice League leaps over a number of DC movies, but its single bound isn’t enough to shed the murky aesthetic, thin characters, and chaotic action that continue to dog the franchise.

Sara Stewart: A pointless flail of expensive (yet, somehow, cheap-looking)

Cameron Williams: A headache. A disorientating, nonsensical, hot mess barely tethered together by the digital blurs of DC Comics’ heroes. These heroes appear to need saving from themselves. (WoW – “hot mess” That seems to be a popular phrase by critics)

Dustin Putman: It is almost shocking how bad “Justice League” is. When your film makes the viewer long for the coherence and scope of 2015’s ill-fated “Fantastic Four,” it is a sure sign something has perilously gone wrong.

These are some of the critical remarks of the movie resulting in a Rotten Tomatoes score of 37% rotten right now. After reading these remarks I was wondering whether I should even spend the money to see it and I reluctantly spent the 12 dollars to see Thursday’s premiere. I was glad I did go, if for no other reason to see if Warner Bros. blew it again as the consensus of critics are saying.

I was very pleased with what I saw and wonder what “hot mess” the other people were watching. The movie had a story that was in line with Marvel movies in its story basics. In this film, there was a supervillain one of the new Gods trying to terraform the world and conquer its peoples. The superheroes after a time come together to fight and stop him. Marvel has done that twice in the Avengers and will do it again when Thanos comes to earth. The interaction between the heroes is Marvel’s strength and is well done in this movie. The movie was funny and had its dialogue had moments of greatness. The plot worked for me and the risks were real for the heroes against a very powerful villain.

The CGI of Steppenwolf may have been not the best but it was adequate and he was a formidable foe for the whole league of superheroes. He was not as much fun as Hela in Thor Ragnarok but just as effective. The dialogue between the characters was fine and was one of the movie’s strengths. While the editing of the movie seemed abbreviated at points there was enough background to tell the story. It was an enjoyable fun experience and I am sorry if some critics thought it was painful.

As far as the average moviegoer that does not know what DC heroes are about there was enough in the story for them to understand what was going on and I think it will be enjoyable for them also. I did not expect 98% favorable with the critics but 37% is crazy. I give you this challenge go see the movie and see for yourself if it is as bad as the critics say then come back here and let me know what you think. I really want your honest opinion.

And please, come back to Comics Talk Blog and Youtube Channel for more. Thanks for watching.

Well I watched it and for all the effort and money spent all I saw was an ok movie with a weak but ok story and a stereo typical type villain that was nothing special with less than quality cgi. I hope it is a while before WB tries another Justice League movie with a clear vision for its heroes and interesting story like Wonder Woman. Will see JL again because it is definitely worth a second look.
