From IGN by Scott Collura:
Poor Harrison Ford! After decades of suffering through them, he now has to put up with even more Han Solo questions than ever before. And we’re to blame too. You, me, the whole Internet — we’re the problem!
Anyway, Ford was in Chicago this week when a local TV reporter hit him with the big Star Wars question. The reporter asks if the “old gang” is getting back together for the new movie, to which Ford very carefully replies, “I think it’s almost true. I think… I’m looking forward to it. It’s not in the bag yet, but I think it’s happening.” (You can watch the interview with Ford here.)
Of course, we all know Han, Luke and Leia are coming back for more Star Wars films, but still… to hear Ford basically confirm it is kind of crazy. Still, the biggest question has yet to be posed to him: Is Han still flying the Millennium Falcon? And where’s Chewie?! END OF ARTICLE
It is in an older role keep in mind Harrison Ford is 70 now but it is true. The writers say they would like the original cast but would rewrite the script if they said no. See the other posts about the original cast getting together, (Carrie Fisher) and (Mark Hamill). What Harrison Ford said in the interview was that “It looks like it is going to happen, it’s not in the bag yet but I think it’s happening”. I will say it again according to interviews with Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher it looks like they will be in Star Wars VII. Disney is putting their money where it counts and it just may be a blockbuster movie with them in it. We are here for you movie fans. Stay tuned Star Wars faithful for more. 🙂 Walt
