Fans Will Be Shocked What Happens In Star Wars: The Last Jedi

For those of you who realized how similar Star Wars: The Force Awakens by JJ Abrams was to “A New Hope” which began the first Star Wars triogy, will be happy to hear what Mark Hamill had to say about the next edition Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He says the film will be unigue in Star Wars stories and it will shock fans.

“I think it’s pretty unique when Luke says it’s time for the Jedi Order to end. It’s like, ‘What?!’ He was the most optimistic character. He embodied hope, and to see him say that, I was in shock as I think the audience will be. But the movie is filled with that. I mean, I love the fact that there are still unexpected elements in a franchise that’s so familiar, and we are not like repeating ourselves. [We’re] trying to make the film as unique as possible. We couldn’t have found a better person to do that than [director] Rian Johnson.”

Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren, makes a interesting statement about Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Last Jedi in an interview with Sunday Today.

We all know Kylo Ren went beyond the Dark Side when he killed Han Solo, his father, in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is something that Darth Vader didn’t even do (in Vader’s defense, Anakin didn’t have a father–lol), but Adam Driver reveals something happens to Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Last Jedi!

The interviewer, asks Adam Driver if fans “will be happy with what happens to Kylo?”

Driver responds, “God, I hope. I think it will be hopefully unexpected.”

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” has a December 15, 2017 release directed by Rian Johnson starring Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac and Benicio Del Toro.
