Here it is! The newest trailer for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” – in theaters March 25th, 2016.

The newest edition in the highly anticipated movie pitting Batman the Dark Knight against Superman the last son of Krypton is here and it reveals a lot of previously unanswered question. First of all the common foe which unites Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman is Doomsday. No doubt Lex Luthor is involved in the creation or discovery of Doomsday. Somehow Zod’s dead body is part of the story, possibly the source that creates the monster through the efforts of Luthor. It was thrilling to see the scene where Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman face off against Doomsday.

Alfred played by Jeremy Irons shows his objections to the course of action by Batman stating “You can’t win”. Lois Lane calls Lex Luthor “psychotic”. Batman or Bruce Wayne is emotionally driven to stop Superman. He says Superman is an alien who could “burn it all”, implying he is very dangerous. Lex Luthor brings Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent together in an official function no doubt orchestrated by him. Like Dr. Frankenstein it looks like Luthor is sending huge amounts of electric current into a non-animated body which looks like the Doomsday creature.

Finally the three superheroes called the trinity in the DC universe unite to stop a creature who just shot what looks like Superman heat vision but very powerful. It caused a large shock wave after hitting Wonder Woman’s shield. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are the only ones left to stop the attack of Doomsday on the world. This movie looks awesome on so many levels. Just to have Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in the same full length movie is amazing. Plus the cinematic origin of the Justice League begins here.

Warner Brothers hope of establishing a true DC universe on the big screen are wrapped up in this creation by director Zack Snyder. Will it compete with Captain America: Civil War, between Captain America and Iron Man the big heavy hitters in Marvel Studios in May of 2016. We shall see what happens. This is a great time to see the great comic heroes of the last 70 plus years come to the big screen in well produced movies we hope.
