The Superman and Lois Premier was well received with viewers last night hitting over 70k tweets on Twitter if that means anything. Amazingly that was contrasted by the release of the new title of Spider-Man 3 on the same day which was trending with Marvel’s “big” reveal of “No Way Home,” which is trending with 50k tweets, also on Twitter. I am glad to see the friendly competition between companies and want to share how Jim Lee responded to the premiere of the Superman show and the competition with Spider-Man.…

The Portland convention is new to the area of Portland but the Emerald City in Seattle has been there for over 10 years and I really like the show there many of the comic creators and they are very approachable.
Well we have a pretty good idea what DC is trying to do with the new titles and re-numbering. They are trying to attract new readers and they are betting on the new digital market to be a gold mine. Just maybe they will do a great job with the Re-Launch the talent is there, but what was so bad about the old universe? The answer is nothing except the fact Marvel has beat you for the last 40 years in every way possible. So it is time to shake…

I just read an article about comic creativity from Mark Millar on the current state of comics and why he left the big two Marvel and DC. He was very negative about the Big Event comics and why Marvel and DC do them. The Article is found on Comic Book News if you would like to read it. I must say that I understand why he may criticize the big guys, Millar is currently doing only his creator owned comics, having recently announced he will no longer be doing work…
