So I’m not too good at writing reviews like this… but I really felt the need to write one due to all critique and hate this movie gets.

I did read others opinions on how this movie would turn out, and most of those opinions were negative, especially towards Brie.. So my expectations were’nt too high when I went to see this film.. but goddamn!!

My advice: Don’t get too caught up in what others expect or speculate. I know there are people out there ruining this IMDb score based on the freaking trailers.. Go see the movie first, then make yourself an opinion.

I didn’t think I would like this movie, but Marvel truly didn’t let me down! I thought I had seen every storyline there is for this superhero genre.. but nah. Obviously there are some typical superhero moments that we have all seen, but the movie did impress me!

I did a mistake, reading reviews and going to the cinemas with low expectations.. I should’ve never doubted Marvel like that. Don’t do the same mistake like me ppl.

finished watching the film about an hour ago and have to say this. It is the most underwhelming of all Marvel movies. Even when the lead actress is showing off her power(which no villain in the movie even comes close to matching), you feel absolutely nothing. I am a big Marvel fan and super hyped for Endgame.

But this movie only justifies its ticket because of the two end-of-credits scenes. Nothing else is memorable

I live in Indonesia, and I’ve just seen it since it aired today. The action scenes are good, the de-aging of early SHIELD Agents are great. I can’t really notice in seeing Fury. That’s it. Those are the good things about this movie. Brie Larson comes off as snobbish when she quips like Tony Stark, but became boring and unlikeable the more she does it. There are moments in the action scenes when it’s all CGI that looks like it came from a PS3 game. Comedy is sub-par. Worth of nose exhale at least.

To quote Laura Clifford, “Captain Marvel is a boring mishmash of ideas from a score of other movies and franchises”.
