Action Comics #1000: 80 Years of Superman is now dropping the “#1000”, becoming simply Action Comics: 80 Years of Superman.

Announced in a notice sent out to retailers, DC reiterates that this hardcover “does NOT include any of the contents from the Action Comics #1000 comic book!”

Action Comics: 80 Years of Superman is scheduled for release April 11, with Action Comics #1000 coming April 18.
